Talent Intelligence Strategies Global Inc. (泰然策略解密股份有限公司), UBN 60331107, at No. 4-8, Qingdao E. Rd., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City 100, Taiwan. When we say TIS or we, that's who we mean.
Three Patent Intelligence reports — Snapshot, Study and Survey. Our analysts produce them leveraging closed-database AI tools, using patent data from Innovue. They're analytical documents: not legal opinions, not infringement analyses, not investment advice.
Each report has its own price, paid by card in two parts:
In between, you can read the report's outline — the full scope of what each section covers, not excerpts — for free. We don't take the balance unless you decide to go ahead.
Prices on the site are indicative. The amount you'll actually be charged, and the currency it's in, are shown at checkout before you authorise anything, and repeated in your confirmation email — that's the one that counts. If we've displayed a price wrong, we'll contact you before charging rather than take the wrong amount. We may change prices for future orders, but never for one already placed.
If you change your mind after paying the deposit: once we've started work we keep it, because it has already paid for analyst time. If we haven't started, tell us and we'll refund it. And if you're a consumer in Taiwan, your rights under the Consumer Protection Act sit on top of all this — nothing here takes them away.
We won't email reports. When yours is ready we'll send a notification, and you'll pick it up here with your email address and your registration code. Hang on to that code — it will be the only thing that retrieves your report, and you can't work it out from the report number.
Reports will take hours to days, not weeks. We'll email you the moment yours is ready, and you'll be able to check where it's up to any time with your email and code.
Everything you send us stays yours. You're giving us only what we need to produce your report, and the Privacy Policy covers how we handle it.
The report itself is ours, copyright-wise. Use it however you like inside your organisation, including with your advisers. Don't publish it, resell it, or pass it outside your organisation without asking us first.
A rating is a position within a comparison pool, not an absolute measure. That pool is made up of patents TIS and its partners hold — patents we also license commercially — so a rank tells you where you sit against our inventory, not against every patent in the world. It re-ranks as patents are granted and lapse, so your number can move even when your patent hasn't.
A report isn't legal, financial or investment advice. What you decide after reading one is on you. We're not liable for decisions made on the back of it.
We'll update these as the service changes, and move the date at the top when we do. Whatever was in force when you ordered governs that order.
Taiwanese law applies. If it comes to a dispute, the Taipei District Court hears it first — unless you're a consumer and the Consumer Protection Act entitles you to a different court, in which case use that one.
