Privacy Policy
Who's handling it
Talent Intelligence Strategies MRO Global Inc. (泰然策略解密股份有限公司), UBN 60331107, at No. 4-8, Qingdao E. Rd., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City 100, Taiwan. When we say TIS or we, that's who we mean.
What we collect
When you contact us, request a scoping conversation or a meeting, or subscribe. Your name, job title, email, phone, organisation, the topic you pick and your message. Along with those we record when you submitted, the page you submitted from, your language setting and your browser's user agent string.
What not to send. Export-controlled technical data (ITAR, EAR or Taiwan Strategic High-Tech Commodities), classified material, and details of inventions you haven't filed. The forms are not a controlled channel. Describe what you need in general terms and we will set up an NDA and a proper channel for anything sensitive.
Why we've got it
- To answer what you've asked, and to arrange a scoping conversation, a meeting or an NDA.
- To send you what you subscribed to. Every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link.
- To keep our accounting, contracting and other legal obligations straight.
Who else sees it
- TIS staff in Taiwan who need it to answer you, under confidentiality obligations.
- Google, whose Sheets service receives every form submission.
- Our service partners, for sustainment enquiries. Scoping a Sustain program means working out capacity with Suntek Group / PG Union and capability with Taiwan leading UAV manufacturer. We share only what they need to scope the work, under confidentiality, and we tell you before we do.
- Innovue, only where a Protect or License enquiry needs its patent data, and only what that needs.
Some of these services run outside Taiwan, so your details can cross borders. We don't sell your data, and we don't let it be used to train AI models.
Visiting the site at all involves two more parties. GitHub Pages hosts it, so it sees the IP address and request details of every visit. And if a page's local copy of a graphics or animation library fails to load, the page falls back to a public CDN — esm.sh, jsDelivr or unpkg — which then sees your IP as well. Neither gets anything you typed.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records stay while we're dealing with you, and for as long as a resulting contract and accounting law need them. Newsletter subscriptions stay until you unsubscribe. Ask us to delete anything we don't have to keep, and we will.
How we look after it
- The site runs on HTTPS throughout.
- Only staff who need access have it, under confidentiality obligations.
- Material exchanged under an NDA follows that NDA, not this page.
What you can ask us to do
Under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act you can ask to see what we hold, get a copy, correct it, make us stop using it, or have it deleted. Email contact@tisglobalinc.com. We answer within the periods the Act sets — 15 days for access and copies, 30 days for corrections and deletion — and we'll tell you if we need one of the extensions it allows. It costs nothing and it never counts against you.
Cookies and analytics
The site sets no cookies at all, and there is no analytics or advertising code on it.
It keeps a few things in your browser's own storage, and nowhere else: your language and theme choice, so they stick between visits; that you've dismissed a notice bar, for the rest of that browsing session; and that you've already seen a newsletter prompt, so it stays away for 30 days. None of it leaves your browser.
When Insights orders open
Ordering a report will involve material we don't collect today — patent numbers, drafts, payment references. We will update this policy, and say exactly what is collected and who handles it, before the first order is taken.
Changes
We update this as the site and services change, and move the date at the top when we do.
