When you contact us or subscribe. Your name, job title, email, phone, organisation, what you're asking about and your message. Along with those we record when you submitted, the page you submitted from, your language setting and your browser's user agent string.
When orders open, and you order a report. All of the above, plus whatever you send us to evaluate:
together with the report you picked, any notes you add and your contact email. This will be the most sensitive material we hold. An unfiled idea or an unpublished draft can lose its novelty if it gets out, so we treat it as confidential by default.
Payment. Card details will go to our payment provider and never touch TIS servers. We'll keep the result of the transaction and a payment reference.
Producing a report will mean your material gets handled outside TIS. Worth knowing before you send us anything:
Which means your material crosses borders. We don't sell your data, and we don't let it be used to train AI models.
Separately from any of that, visiting the site at all involves two more parties. GitHub Pages hosts it, so it sees the IP address and request details of every visit. And if a page's local copy of a graphics or animation library fails to load, the page falls back to a public CDN — esm.sh, jsDelivr or unpkg — which then sees your IP as well. Neither of them gets anything you typed.
What you send us to evaluate — the draft, the specification, the description of an unfiled idea — we keep only for as long as producing and supporting your report needs it. Ask us to delete it and we will, any time.
The finished report we'll keep for as long as we offer retrieval, because the Terms say you can come back for it whenever with your email and registration code.
Contact and enquiry records stay while we're dealing with you. Transaction records stay as long as accounting and tax law needs them. Newsletter subscriptions stay until you unsubscribe.
Under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act you can ask to see what we hold, get a copy, correct it, make us stop using it, or have it deleted. Email contact@tisglobalinc.com. We answer within the periods the Act sets — 15 days for access and copies, 30 days for corrections and deletion — and we'll tell you if we need one of the extensions it allows. It costs nothing and it never counts against you.
The site sets no cookies at all — not for advertising, not for analytics, none. There is no analytics or advertising code on it either.
It does keep three things in your browser's own storage, and nowhere else: your language choice, so it sticks between visits; that you've dismissed the notice bar, for the rest of that browsing session; and that you've already seen the newsletter prompt, so it stays away for 30 days. None of it leaves your browser.
We update this as the service changes, and move the date at the top when we do.
